The peculiarity of these pumps is the impeller. It is of the channel type; i.e. with wide passages between the vanes to enable the handling of media containing suspended foreign bodies without any danger of clogging.

The type of construction derives from the RN pumps line with consequent advantages of an easy maintenance and easy impeller replacement to possibly suit the pump to the varied conditions of service.

Leistritz screw pumps of series L4NO are self priming positive displacement pumps for a pressure range up to max. 16 bar, suitable for transporting abrasive and non-abrasive, lubricating and non lubricating fluids.

APPLICATIONS

RVS liquid ring vacuum pumps are a single stage block model with following features:

In the newly designed RCK series pumps advantage Is taken of the hydraulic principle of transformation of energy by the use of the vertex-like movement given by the impeller to the liquid to be conveyed. The special shape of the impeller and its position in the back part of the casing operate in such a way that the liquid flows through the pump without touching the Impeller directly; for this reason it is possible to convey with no difficult viscous or sticky fluids even those containing large foreign matters and lints in suspension without clogging the pump. Therefore the use of this type of pump can be extended to all those cases in which it is Impossible for centrifugal pumps provided with any other type of impeller to operate properly: in addition pumping is satisfactory even when air, gas or foam are present in the liquid. Fibrous or clouded suspensions are homogenised by the pump.

The pumps are characterised by the special impeller. It is of the open type with recessed hub and with a limited number of vanes, two of which symmetrically arranged and axially drawn toward the suction port following a peculiar spiral development.
The peculiar shape of the impeller and its large passages allow the delivery of high viscous media and solutions containing high concentration of solids contents and of suspended foreign bodies of remarkable size.
RAC pumps offer a low NPSH required value and a high hydraulic efficiency when compared with conventional channel and torque flow impeller pumps. ROBOX
ROBOX is an integrated compression package for conveying low pressure gases, equipped with the RBS positive displacement rotary lobes blower, driven by an electric motor through a special Vbelt transmission, and complete with all necessary accessories ROBOX packages perform up to 150 m3/min capacity and fit up to 250 kW motors. For higher capacities and up to 250 kW motor installed power. GRB packages with standard V belt drive transmission are available, whereas for installed power over 250 kW, CRB packages, with direct drive or gearbox, are used.
